"Try to relax and
enjoy the crisis."

Over 15 years of practice where the vast majority of matrimonial cases in which I have been involved have resulted in settlement, I have finally come to the understanding that settlement is not enough.
Settlement inevitably equates to "let's make a deal (to get this over with)" leaving the underlying issues unresolved. There is no need to accept compromise when, with a little courage, true and lasting resolution of the underlying conflict can be achieved.
Our goal in Collaborative Divorce is to encourage people "to go the extra mile"; to encourage the participants in the process to invest a little more of themselves with the hope that the dividend they may receive will be long lasting healing and forgiveness, not only for the benefit of their former partner but for their own benefit as well.
